Refund / Return Policy

Hill Country Wine Ware.com (HCWW) double and triple checks product condition and packaging before ever releasing orders to be shipped out. Although it is highly unlikely, we do understand that sometimes things happen and you might wish to request a refund. Hey, “stuff happens,” so it’s OK, don’t stress.  We developed this simple Refund/Return Policy to help you submit a Refund Request.

Refunds will be considered for product returned within thirty-five (35) calendar days from the date shipped out by HCWW and meeting the following:

1. Customer must first complete and submit a Refund Request Form to obtain a unique Refund Request Number (RRN).
2. Products returned without an RRN issued by HCWW will not be honored for refund/return and will be sent back to customer at customer’s expense.
3. After submitting a request form an RRN will be issued to the customer (typically within 1-3 business days) along with instructions about how to return the product to HCWW. Customer is responsible for all packaging and shipping costs to return product to HCWW.  Important Note submitting a refund request form and receiving an RRN does not generate the refund.
4. Items must all be in like-new condition with all inserts, labels, tags, and all original component parts/pieces/accessories returned together in one sturdy and securely taped box.
5. If any inserts, labels, tags, or component parts/pieces/accessories are missing or deemed to not be in like-new condition upon receipt and inspection by HCWW, then HCWW, at its sole discretion, will either reject the refund request completely and return the product(s) to the customer at customer’s expense, or HCWW will deduct a sufficient amount from any refund issued to cover the deficiencies found plus a 20% handling fee.
6. HCWW is not responsible for “late” delivery, regardless of reason, if product arrival is past a date needed for an event or occasion. Please allow sufficient days for HCWW to process your order (typically within 2-3 business days) and for your order to be received.
7. HCWW exclusively uses USPS Tracked Priority Mail service to send products. Delivery can take 3-7 business days (or sometimes longer) depending on many variables such as delivery location, holidays and weather. Customer understands and agrees that HCWW is not responsible for any misdirected, delayed or “late” delivery regardless of reason.  HCWW is not responsible if package is held at a local Post Office facility for customer pickup and Post Office returns package(s) due to “hold for pickup” at Post Office time expiration.   HCWW is not responsible if package(s) delivered to a business office, front door, porch, community “cluster” mailbox,  or to a central “mail room” and recipient is not notified or there is a delay in timely notification of package arrival or in customer’s ability to obtain package or package is stolen once delivered
8. Customer is solely responsible to ensure complete accuracy of all information entered at checkout and be absent of any typographical or other errors.  HCWW is not responsible for consequences of typographical errors, addressing inaccuracies, or improper information entered by customer at checkout. No refund of shipping charges will be made if package is returned to HCWW by shipper due to incorrect, improper, or other addressing or delivery issues.  In such a case HCWW will withhold a 20% handling fee from any refund if package acceptance is undeliverable or is refused at point of delivery (by anyone or for any reason at point of delivery) and that results in shipper returning package to HCWW indicating “Refused Delivery” or “Rejected Delivery” or  “Not At This Address” or “Address Does Not Exist,” or any similar language.
9. Refunds will be returned back to the same Debit or Credit card or PayPAL account used for the original purchase. No cash will be issued.   In certain circumstances, however, and at the discretion of HCWW, a refund check may be issued instead of an electronic funds return.   HCWW accepts only US Dollars for purchases and any refund issued will be in that same currency.  Any HCWW refund issued will not include original order’s shipping charges, there is no refund on shipping charges. HCWW is not responsible for any fees or charges whatsoever that may be imposed upon customer from customer’s financial institution(s) to execute a refund transaction to the original debit or credit card account.
10. If a refund is authorized by HCWW, HCWW will notify the customer of record to advise of the refund and method used and if  it was submitted it to it’s third-party processing agent. Once HCWW submits refund for processing to its 3-party agent, customer agrees that it is then solely up to the third-party processing agent (i.e. PayPal) and the customer’s financial institution of the refund to post refund amount to the customer’s account. HCWW has no influence or control over third-party agents or customer’s financial institutions regarding the speed or accuracy to process any refund. Customer agrees HCWW is not liable or responsible for any actions or lack of actions or length of time by it’s third-party processing agent or customer’s financial institution(s) to deposit refund amount into customer’s account.
11. Any customer notification to any agency or agencies,  service(s), social media account or website, governmental offices, bureau(s) and/or financial institution(s) to “dispute” or declare HCWW charge to be “unauthorized” or “fraudulent” without first adhering to this Refund/Return Policy, will result in HCWW disclosing such lack of adherence to the refund/return policy, as agreed to by customer at time of order via approval of terms and conditions, to the institution, agency, service, bureau or financial institution investigating customer’s complaint.   Customer should print a copy of this policy and retain for future reference.
12. HCWW may from time-to-time revise and update this policy without notice.
