Collected customer information, cyber security, and online privacy have been and continue to be important issues. Hill Country Wine Ware (HCWW) knows that you care how information about you is used and shared. As our customer or website visitor, we appreciate your trust and want you to feel confident in our services and the security measures as it relates to your personal information. This notice describes our privacy policy. By visiting and/or ordering from HillCountryWineWare.com, you are accepting the practices described in this Privacy Notice.
Does HCWW Share the Information It Receives?
We don’t like our privacy to be compromised and we respect your privacy concerns as well. Any payment information you enter is on a 3rd party processing server. Currently HillCountryWineWare.com uses PayPal to process all transactions related to orders. HCWW does not retain that information unless customer elects to provide such information to create an account for future use. HCWW does not sell, give, swap, transfer or trade account information with any outside source(s) except with HCWW affiliated businesses.
What Personal Information About Customers Does HCWW Gather?
The information we gather from customers helps us personalize and continually improve the shopping experience at HCWW. Here are the types of information we gather.
Information You Give Us: We receive and sometimes store information you enter on our Web site. You can choose not to provide certain information, but then you might not be able to take advantage of many of our features. We use the information that you provide for such purposes as responding to your requests, fulfilling orders, customizing future shopping for you, improving our store features, and communication with you. Please note that HCWW never ever stores credit card information on our site, HCWW uses 3rd party processor for order payments (see Shopping Checkout below). HCWW will we not provide your account information, except as legally required by law enforcement.
Automatic Information: We receive and store certain types of information whenever you interact with our website. For example, like many web sites, we may use “cookies,” and we may obtain certain types of information when your Web browser accesses our website.
What About Cookies?
Cookies are alphanumeric identifier text files that we may transfer to your computer’s hard drive through your Web browser to enable our systems to recognize your browser and to provide features such as storage of items in your Shopping Cart between visits.
Which Information Can I Access?
If an account is established by you, HCWW gives you access to a broad range of information about your account and your interactions with us for the limited purpose of viewing and, in certain cases, updating that information.

You provide information when you search, buy, order, post reviews, or other methods of communication via our website or email to HCWW. As a result of those actions, you might supply us with such information such as your name, address, and phone numbers.
Shopping Checkout
With ever changing cyber security issues facing users on “the Internet,” HCWW has elected to not internally process customer order payments. While it is more costly for HCWW to not internally process customer order payments, we have decided that in the best interest of our customers and our company, the use of a 3rd party processing agent is best. Customer entered information at checkout is processed through a 3rd party service, currently PayPal, and as such HCWW can not be held responsible for the policies, practices, uses and security of that information. HCWW does not retain customer financial information.
